The Jackson® JS Series Dinky™ Minion JS1X proves that great things come in small packages, packing serious shredding potential into a compact 2/3 scale design. This minuscule axe with a monstrous bite is perfect for young players taking their first steps into the world of metal, or seasoned musicians who need a travel-friendly instrument without compromising on the features they demand.
Built with a poplar body and featuring a bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite rods, the JS1X offers exceptional stability and playability. The 12"-radius amaranth fingerboard sports 24 jumbo frets with distinctive sharkfin inlays, while the sculpted heel design ensures comfortable access to those higher registers. The rear-angled Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock distributes string tension evenly across the 22.5" scale length.
Tonally, this compact powerhouse doesn’t hold back thanks to its pair of Jackson high-output ceramic humbucker pickups. The neck position provides bright, articulate highs while the bridge pickup adds the crunchy distortion that metal players crave. A three-way toggle switch works alongside single volume and tone controls to shape your sound, while the string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles enhances both intonation and sustain. Finished in striking Gloss Black with matching black hardware, the Dinky Minion JS1X makes a bold statement both sonically and visually.
