From a 9–year–old apprentice in Istanbul's only cymbal factory to a global legend spanning eight decades, Agop Tomurcuk's remarkable journey began in 1941 in the Samatya neighbourhood. Following his older brothers Oksant and Garbis into the ancient craft of cymbal–smithing, Agop's dedication has created a lineage of cymbals that now resonate on stages and in practice spaces across every corner of the globe.
