This 18" Traditional China cymbal from Istanbul Agop brings explosive, trashy character that cuts through any mix with surgical precision. Handcrafted from premium B20 bronze alloy using centuries–old Turkish techniques, it produces a dark, short burst of sound that’s perfect for punctuating fills and adding dynamic flair to both live performances and studio recordings.
The Traditional Series stands out for its artisanal approach — each cymbal features individual hammer marks and lathing patterns that create a truly unique instrument. This meticulous craftsmanship results in a complex tonal palette with warm, exotic overtones and rich harmonic content that suits everything from rock and metal through to jazz and fusion styles.
Built for expressive performance, this china cymbal offers quick attack with fast decay, making it ideal for drummers who need cutting accents that won’t muddy their mix. The traditional hand–turned finish not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to the cymbal’s distinctive tonal warmth and authentic Turkish sound character.
