What sets AXE I/O apart is its dedicated Amp Out feature, which solves the common problem of integrating real amps and stomp boxes into recording setups. This ground-isolated, low-noise ¼” output eliminates the need for external DI boxes and ground loop interrupters, while preventing the constant plugging and unplugging that typically comes with switching between direct recording and amp recording. You can capture a clean guitar signal first, then use the Amp Out to experiment with different amp and stompbox combinations without disrupting your existing connections.

The technical specifications are impressive for an instrument-focused interface: 117 dB dynamic range and 3 Hz – 32 kHz frequency response ensure accurate capture of every performance detail. Two Hi-Z front inputs accommodate guitars and basses, while two rear combo inputs with phantom power handle microphones and line instruments. The PURE mic preamps offer transparent, clean recording with 116 dB dynamic range and a flat 5 Hz to 32 kHz frequency response.
