Ibanez UB805 MOB Upright Electric Bass Guitar 5 String (Walnut)

The Ibanez UB805 stands as an exceptional fusion of traditional upright bass character with modern electric convenience. This remarkable instrument features a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck construction that delivers exceptional tonal clarity and superior attack response. The Jatoba fretboard contributes its distinctive reddish-brown appearance whilst producing rich mid-range frequencies complemented by crisp high-end definition.

Built with a Maple wing body design, the UB805 generates bright and clear sonic characteristics that cut through any mix. At the heart of this instrument lies the innovative AeroSilk Piezo system, integrated within the custom bridge to capture that distinctive "air" quality synonymous with authentic upright bass sound. The accompanying Piezo active tone control has been specifically engineered to work seamlessly with the AeroSilk system.

The custom AeroSilk MR5 bridge incorporates uniquely designed saddles that work in perfect harmony with the piezo pickups, enhancing the acoustic upright qualities of the instrument’s tone. This thoughtful engineering makes the UB805 equally suited to both fingerstyle playing and bow techniques, providing versatility for any musical application.
