Ibanez SR305E SR Standard 5-String Electric Bass Guitar (Cerulean Aura Burst)

The Ibanez SR series has been the go-to choice for bassists seeking a contemporary edge for three decades running. This enduring popularity drives Ibanez to continuously expand their offerings, catering to diverse playing styles and budgets whilst maintaining the core DNA that makes SR basses special - that signature smooth, fast neck, featherweight body, and precisely matched electronics that keep players coming back.

At the heart of the SR305E lies the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickup system, an Ibanez innovation featuring exposed pole pieces that generate stronger output whilst boosting higher frequency response without compromising the low end. This design produces remarkably rich harmonic detail and dynamic expression that professional bassists demand.

The pickup system works alongside Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch, offering comprehensive tonal control across professional applications. Tap Mode provides punchy, articulate single-coil character, Series Mode produces full, warm humbucking tones, and Power Tap Mode combines single-coil clarity with humbucker bottom end. The Accu-cast B120 Bridge completes the package with extra-wide string slots accommodating heavy gauge strings, whilst its plate design effectively secures the saddles for consistent directional alignment.
