Ibanez SR1305SB MGL Premium 5 String Electric Bass Guitar

The Ibanez SR series has redefined what bass players expect from a modern instrument over three decades of continuous innovation. This legendary lineup maintains its core DNA of smooth, fast necks and lightweight bodies whilst constantly adapting to meet the diverse requirements of players across all skill levels and budgets.

At the heart of this bass lies the Nordstrand™ "Big Break" pickup system, which cleverly packages a substantial split coil design within a sleek soapbar housing. This configuration produces robust, aggressive tonal characteristics whilst preserving the clarity and noiseless operation that single coil pickups are renowned for, giving you the best of both worlds.

The Atlas 5-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck construction provides exceptional balance between note attack and sustain, reinforced with KTS™ TITANIUM rods for enhanced stability. Panga Panga’s distinctive grain pattern contributes tight low and mid frequencies with crisp high-end response, whilst the Premium Fret Edge Treatment ensures effortless playability. The MR5S bridge features adjustable saddles with ±1.5mm string spacing adjustment, accommodating individual playing preferences.

Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ represents a refined approach to bass tone control, featuring Mid Control boost and cut functions centred on carefully selected frequencies. This thoughtful design provides access to an optimal range of bass tones without unnecessary complexity.
