Ibanez RGA42EX BAM Electric Guitar

The Ibanez RGA42EX BAM is a high–performance electric guitar engineered for speed and precision across metal, hard rock and progressive styles. Built around the legendary Wizard III maple neck, this instrument delivers the thin, flat profile that has made Ibanez a favourite among technical players who demand effortless playability. The 24–fret Jatoba fretboard spans two full octaves with a 648mm scale length and 400mm radius, while jumbo frets and off–set white dot inlays provide clear visual reference points during fast passages and extended–range work.

Dual Quantum ceramic humbuckers drive the sonic architecture, with the neck and bridge pickups offering quick low–end response and precise note definition even during rapid–fire runs. The five–way selector provides extensive tonal options: neck position alone, neck humbucker in parallel, both pickups combined, inner coils of both pickups, and bridge position alone. Hardware includes the F106 bridge with independent string height adjustment and 10.5mm string spacing, while the Meranti body delivers a scooped midrange character with enhanced sweetness. D'Addario EXL110 strings come factory–installed in .010–.046 gauge, with black hardware throughout and a neck width measuring 43mm at the nut and 58mm at the 24th fret.
