Ibanez RG550 Genesis Electric Guitar Purple Neon Japan

Three decades of metal evolution have shaped the Ibanez RG into the ultimate high-performance guitar, making it the most recognisable instrument in the entire Ibanez catalogue. This precision machine has been forged through years of relentless refinement, creating a guitar that excels in both speed and strength for the modern player.

The new Genesis Collection brings Japanese craftsmanship to the forefront, maintaining all the pioneering features that made the original RG legendary. Built with the Super Wizard HP Neck, this guitar caters specifically to fast, technical playing styles with its slim profile measuring just 17mm at the 1st fret and 19mm at the 12th fret.

Tonal versatility comes courtesy of the carefully selected pickup combination featuring V7 neck, S1 middle, and V8 bridge pickups, allowing players to dial in everything from crystal clear tones to searing, aggressive sounds. The masterpiece Edge bridge system ensures exceptional tuning stability while providing precise intonation adjustment and superior playing comfort for demanding performances.
