Ibanez JIVAX2GH Nita Strauss Signature Electric Guitar (Ghost) inc Case

Los Angeles guitarist Nita Strauss has carved out an extraordinary career that spans continents and genres, performing alongside rock legend Alice Cooper, R&B star Jermaine Jackson, and tribute acts like The Iron Maidens. Her exceptional skill and magnetic stage presence have earned her recognition across the US, UK, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, while securing endorsements from leading music companies and features in worldwide publications.

Strauss made history in 2018 as the first female signature artist with Ibanez guitars, culminating years of collaboration into her dream instrument - the JIVA series. Her achievements extend beyond performance, including authoring Guitar World magazine’s monthly column "Like a Hurricane" and contributing to soundtracks for Heroes Of The Storm and the Grammy-nominated Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The Ibanez JIVAX2 showcases premium construction with its 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck providing enhanced strength and enriched resonance, while the Ebony fretboard produces tight lows and mids with strong high-end attack. The Quilted Maple top enhances picking response, complemented by an African Mahogany body that adds rich mid-low frequencies, all powered by DiMarzio® Pandemonium™ pickups designed for Strauss’s modern rock sound.

Technical precision comes through Gotoh® machine heads offering smooth operation and minimal backlash, paired with the Edge-Zero tremolo system featuring a sharp knife-edge design for accurate tremolo playing and Ibanez’s zero point system for superior tuning stability. As Strauss herself notes: "I’ve been designing my signature guitar in my head since I started playing guitar - and the JIVA is that dream come to life."
