The Artwood series bridges centuries of acoustic guitar tradition with cutting-edge modern technology, creating instruments that honour the past whilst embracing the future. This exceptional guitar combines time-tested craftsmanship with contemporary innovations, resulting from an ongoing pursuit of the ultimate guitar tone that respects acoustic heritage while incorporating modern interpretations.
At the heart of this instrument lies a beautifully resonant solid Cedar top paired with Mahogany back and sides, supported by traditional X bracing for optimal sound projection. The Cutaway Dreadnought body shape provides comfortable playability and access to higher frets, while the Mahogany neck and Ovangkol fretboard offer smooth performance across all 20 frets.
The amplified performance capabilities are equally impressive, featuring a Fishman® Sonicore pickup system paired with the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp that includes an onboard tuner. Both balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs ensure professional connectivity options, while Chrome Die-cast tuners and Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins provide reliable hardware performance.
Finishing touches include a distinctive wooden multi soundhole rosette and satin finish that showcases the natural beauty of the tonewoods, making this guitar as visually appealing as it is sonically impressive.
