Ibanez AS2000 Prestige Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar (Brown Sunburst) inc Case

Jazz and electric guitar history converge in the AS semi-acoustic guitar, a versatile instrument engineered to handle any musical style with confidence. Built with pickups mounted directly to the centre block, this guitar provides enhanced sustain whilst eliminating unwanted feedback issues that can plague hollow-body instruments.

The Artstar series represents the professional-grade evolution of legendary jazz-box guitars, featuring premium appointments including a bone nut, ebony fretboard, and Ibanez's signature Super 58 custom pickups. These instruments showcase meticulous craftsmanship typically found on guitars costing significantly more, with particular attention paid to fretboard smoothness and precision fretwork.

The Artstar embodies both the classic jazz-box tradition and the ongoing evolution of the genre itself, making it an ideal choice for discerning players who appreciate quality construction and authentic tone. The parallel development of jazz music and hollow-body electric guitars is clearly reflected in every aspect of this instrument's design and performance.
