Ibanez has completely reimagined the acoustic guitar with their Advanced Acoustic series, creating instruments that push traditional boundaries through innovative design and engineering. These guitars feature the new Grand Dreadnought body shape, which is 5% larger than a standard dreadnought, resulting in increased volume, richer tonal qualities, and more powerful low-end response. The series was developed through years of rigorous research and development, with extensive consideration given to ergonomics to ensure exceptional comfort during play.

At the heart of these instruments lies the revolutionary X-M Bracing system, developed through extensive trial-and-error testing to achieve optimal sound projection for stage performance. This carefully engineered bracing features scalloped X-bracing combined with strategically positioned tone braces and finger braces that efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge throughout the body. The result is clear bottom end and crisp treble response with refined warm mid-range tones, whilst maintaining wide dynamic range and high responsiveness.

The Advanced Acoustic series also incorporates a newly designed headstock that reflects thorough research into both functionality and performance. Its tapered design reduces weight while providing straight string alignment that improves tuning stability and minimises neck twisting effects.
