The Hohner Pentaharp G Minor is a diatonic harmonica built around the minor pentatonic scale with an added blue note, eliminating the need for advanced bending techniques to play blues and rock solos. Based on the proven Special 20 platform, this 10-hole harp delivers three complete blues scales across its range. The ABS comb and recessed reed plates provide comfort and durability, while the modified tonal layout lets players hit every note in the blues scale simply by blowing and drawing.
The instrument features 20 brass reeds mounted on 0.9 mm brass reed plates, housed in a blue ABS comb with stainless steel cover plates. Total length measures 10.2 cm. Torx screws secure the assembly for easy maintenance access. The blow-draw cycle remains consistent across all holes, unlike traditional Richter–tuned harmonicas that shift patterns between holes 6 and 7. Available in seven keys including LF-minor, C-minor, D-minor, E-minor, G-minor, A-minor, and Bb-minor. Ships with a modern plastic snapcase.
