The HEDD TYPE 07 MK2 stands as a precision–engineered monitor crafted specifically for mixing engineers and producers who demand uncompromising audio accuracy. At its heart lies an Air Motion Transformer tweeter that provides exceptionally clean and realistic reproduction across the upper midrange and high frequencies – those critical bands where most instruments and vocal recordings live. The monitor's Honeycomb 7" diaphragm works in tandem with powerful 100W ICE Power Class–D amplification to produce bass response that's both lightning–fast and highly dynamic.

Like all MK2 monitors, the TYPE 07 MK2 runs on an advanced SHARC–DSP platform loaded with HEDD's latest innovations. The Lineariser® technology perfects the speaker's temporal behaviour, giving you enhanced insight and superior control over your stereo image. The innovative Closed or Ported (CoP) technology provides two distinct sonic characters: insert the foam plugs for pinpoint accuracy in "Closed" mode, or remove them for "Open" operation that allows higher volume levels whilst maintaining access to deeper bass regions.

The MK2 range includes Desktop and Shelving filters that help you fine–tune the speakers to suit your specific room acoustics, plus a Bass–Extension mode that unlocks access to even lower frequency areas. All adjustments are made via smooth stepped aluminium potentiometers that make speaker calibration both precise and effortless. Connectivity options include analogue XLR and digital AES inputs, ensuring seamless integration into any professional studio setup.
