The HeadRush FRFR-112 MKII redefines what guitarists can expect from a full-range flat-response cabinet, packing an impressive 2500 watts of power into a precision-engineered system. This specialised amplification is essential for amp modelling pedals and pedalboards, providing the pure, transparent sound reproduction needed to achieve that authentic “amp in the room” tone without the colouration that traditional guitar amplifiers introduce. The FRFR-112 MKII has been meticulously designed to extract maximum performance from your modeller, faithfully reproducing all the subtle details of your amp and cabinet emulations.
At the heart of this cabinet lies a specially voiced 12-inch woofer paired with a high-frequency compression driver, producing precise full-range response across the entire frequency spectrum from 46Hz to 22kHz. With a maximum output of 131dB SPL, there’s ample headroom for any performance or rehearsal situation. The unit features dual combo XLR + 1/4” inputs with independent volume controls, plus Bluetooth® connectivity for wireless music streaming during breaks or rehearsals, and an XLR output for chaining multiple speakers or sending signal to front-of-house.
Practical features include a high-pass filter cut switch to eliminate problematic low frequencies that can muddy your mix in dense stage environments, plus a ground lift switch to eliminate electrical noise from ground loops. Despite its powerful output, the FRFR-112 MKII remains relatively portable at 35lbs (15.8kg), and its versatile design allows for wedge, upright, or pole-mounted positioning to direct your sound precisely where needed, making it particularly valuable for outdoor gigs or venues with limited PA support.
