Guild Starfire I DC Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar

The Guild Starfire I DC brings classic semi-hollow style, warm vintage-inspired tone and impressive versatility to a guitar built for everything from blues and jazz through to indie, rock and alternative sounds.

Its double-cutaway semi-hollow body features a solid mahogany centre block, helping deliver the resonance and open character players love from a semi-hollow while adding sustain and helping keep feedback under control. A comfortable Modern Thin U mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and 24.75" scale length give the Starfire I DC an easy, familiar feel in the hands.

A pair of Guild HB-2 humbuckers with Alnico II magnetsdeliver rich, articulate PAF-inspired tones, with plenty of warmth in the neck and clarity and bite from the bridge. Push/pull coil splitting allows each pickup to be split individually, adding brighter, more articulate single-coil sounds and giving you a wide range of tones from one guitar.

Finished with a Guild Tune-O-Matic bridge, Guild Vintage 18 tuners and unmistakable Starfire styling, the Starfire I DC delivers plenty of classic Guild character. Whether you're after warm cleans, gritty blues, jangly rhythm sounds or driven rock tones, it's a versatile semi-hollow guitar that covers plenty of ground.
