Guild B-240EF Concert Fretless Acoustic Bass Guitar - Natural

Derringers Music is pleased to present this Guild B-240EF, Concert Fretless Acoustic Bass Guitar - Natural.

The Guild B-240EF offers superior acoustic volume and great tone in an acoustic-electric bass. The B-240EF features a solid Sitka spruce top and layered mahogany back and sides for top-notch acoustic tone plugged or unplugged. Featuring a fast-response Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, as well as a slim C-shape mahogany neck profile that feels immediately comfortable in your hands, offering great playability.

In addition, a Fishman Sonitone bass pickup system kicks out gorgeous deep, low-end tone when plugged in. Acoustic-electric bassists here at Derringers love the Guild B-240EF for its playability and affordability.

The Fishman Sonitone pickup system not only provides exceptional acoustic amplification, but the design of the Sonitone system is also discreet. The controls are accessed via the soundhole, so you won't have a bulky preamp and tone-compromising hole cut into the side of your instrument for the sake of getting a good live sound.

With a slinky-smooth string action along the 30-3/4" scale length, C-shaped neck and a 1.625" nut width spaces, the strings are well sited for playing fast bass lines without feeling cramped or having to reach uncomfortably far for your next string.
