Gretsch Tennessean Hollow Body w/ String-Thru Bigsby & Nickel Hardware (Havana Burst)

The Professional Collection represents Gretsch's commitment to merging timeless sonic heritage with cutting–edge performance technology. These instruments feature flagship pickups and electronics engineered for powerful sound reproduction, complete versatility, and exceptional player control, making them ideal for discerning musicians who demand both classic tone and modern reliability.

The Gretsch Tennessean™ stands as a historic model that has earned its reputation through the hands of some of music's most celebrated artists. This guitar combines understated elegance with player–focused features, offering classic Gretsch sound within a dependable, straightforward design that prioritises musical performance over unnecessary complexity.

At the heart of this instrument lies the revolutionary Arc–Tone™ bracing system, Gretsch's most sophisticated bracing technology to date. This innovative design incorporates torrefied maple tone bars paired with arc–shaped spruce support braces positioned beneath the bridge area, creating a unique combination that enhances sustain, sharpens note attack, and provides superior feedback control whilst preserving the open, resonant voice that defines Gretsch hollow body guitars.

The playing experience is further refined through a 12"–radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, mounted on a 24.6"–scale maple neck featuring a comfortable standard "U"–shaped profile. Glow–in–the–dark Luminlay® side dots ensure accurate fretting in dim lighting conditions, while the direct–mounted PRO–FT™ Filter'Tron humbucking pickups utilise Alnico 2 magnets in the neck position and Alnico 5 magnets in the bridge position to produce authentic Gretsch tone with remarkable punch, projection, and note definition.
