The dual TV Jones® Super'Tron™ pickups–Classic Plus at the bridge, standard at the neck–feed into a three-position toggle with independent bridge pickup volume, master volume, and master tone controls. Gretsch's proprietary "Squeezebox" capacitors deliver silky vintage high-end response. Hardware includes a Bigsby® B6GWVT vibrato with wire handle, pinned rocking-bar bridge, and gold Grover® Imperial™ tuning machines with butter-bean buttons. The walnut stain lacquer finish sits atop aged white binding with black purfling, whilst gold plexi pickguard and pearloid thumbnail inlays reinforce the '59 aesthetic throughout.
