The G5422TG Electromatic® Classic Hollow Body Double–Cut brings authentic Gretsch heritage to modern players with its vintage–inspired design and contemporary enhancements. This hollow–body guitar features a laminated maple construction with refined arches and innovative trestle block bracing that reduces feedback while improving sustain and attack. The all–new FT–5E Filter’Tron™ pickups provide the classic Gretsch sound – full–bodied punch with distinctive chime, enhanced presence and crystal–clear note definition.

Built for comfort and performance, the guitar sports an all–new Classic “C”–shaped maple neck paired with a 12”–radius laurel fingerboard for smooth playability. The upgraded control layout includes master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual pickup volume controls and a three–position pickup toggle switch, giving players versatile tonal options.

Premium appointments include oversized bound F–holes, multi–ply body binding, and a smaller late–’50s G6120 bound headstock that captures authentic vintage aesthetics.
