Gretsch G2622 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut w/ V-Stoptail (Forge Glow)

The G2622 Streamliner Centre Block Double–Cut with V–Stoptail represents Gretsch’s commitment to merging vintage inspiration with contemporary innovation. This sleek double–cut guitar is built for musicians who refuse to settle for ordinary instruments, demanding superior performance, distinctive style, and commanding volume without compromising the authentic Gretsch character that players have trusted for decades.

At the heart of the G2622 lies an arched maple body featuring Gretsch’s revolutionary centre block design. This engineering breakthrough strikes the perfect balance between lightweight playability and rich, full–bodied tone with enhanced presence. The result is improved attack and sustain characteristics alongside excellent feedback rejection, all housed in a comfortable package that won’t burden you during extended playing sessions.

The guitar’s sonic foundation comes from the new Broad’Tron BT–3S pickup set, which combines Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets to produce stronger midrange response, tight yet full low frequencies, and smooth, clear highs that maintain musical presence. The traditional control layout includes individual neck and bridge pickup volume controls, master tone and volume controls, plus three–way pickup switching, while a push/pull pot on the master volume enables coil–splitting for single–coil tones, expanding your tonal palette considerably.
