Gretsch CM2 22" 5-Piece Drum Kit (Walnut Glaze)

The Gretsch Catalina Maple series has long been admired for delivering the unmistakable Gretsch sound in a kit that feels effortless to play.

This Walnut Glaze edition continues that tradition, pairing elegant aesthetics with modern improvements that make every session feel inspiring. From dynamic studio work to lively stage performances, the CM2 kit presents a balanced, articulate tone that responds beautifully to every playing style.

At the heart of this kit are 7-ply Gretsch Formula Maple shells, crafted with 30-degree bearing edges to create warm lows, smooth mids and that signature Gretsch clarity. Each drum resonates naturally thanks to the upgraded 2025 GTS Tom Suspension System, allowing the shells to vibrate freely for noticeably extended sustain and richer overtones.

Gretsch has also refined the hardware across the entire range. The newly designed 2025 Full Range throw-off and butt plate offer smoother, more reliable snare control, while low-profile brackets and telescopic spurs enhance stability without sacrificing style.

Finished in a stunning Walnut Glaze, the set elevates any stage or studio space with a contemporary look that still honours Gretschs storied heritage. With Remo UT heads fitted straight from the factory, the kit is ready to tune up and play with minimal fuss.

For drummers who value tone, playability and timeless design, the Catalina Maple 5-piece kit offers a truly satisfying experience. Its a kit built to inspire and to grow with you, session after session.

If youre ready to bring classic Gretsch character into your setup, this kit makes an exceptional place to start.
