Gretsch CM2 22" 4-Piece Acoustic Drum Kit (Black Stardust)

The Gretsch Catalina Maple CM2 kit brings together the brands legendary shell recipe and a modern hardware overhaul, delivering a punchy, musical, and highly responsive kit for drummers who want classic tone with contemporary comfort.

At the heart of the kit are Gretschs renowned 7-ply maple shells, crafted with 30-degree bearing edges and a natural interior finish. This classic construction produces a warm, open tone with strong projection and a smooth sustain every player expect from a true Gretsch maple kit.

The 22" bass drum delivers depth and definition, while the 10" and 12" rack toms respond with a balanced attack that fits effortlessly into any musical style. The 16" floor tom adds rich low-end resonance, and the 14" snare offers crisp articulation with impressive dynamic range.

The CM2 series benefits from Gretschs updated 2025 hardware upgrades. The low-profile GTS Tom Suspension System enhances resonance by freeing the toms from shell-mounted stress points, while the new Full Range Throw-Off and matching snare butt plate offer improved reliability and smoother snare action.

Further refinements include 2.3 mm triple-flanged hoops for open, expressive response across all toms and snare, and a gas cap round bass drum mount plate for versatile and stable positioning. All shells come fitted with genuine Gretsch by Remo heads, ensuring the kit sounds full and expressive straight out of the box.

Designed for players who value tone, craftsmanship, and modern playability, the Gretsch CM2 Maple kit offers outstanding performance in both live and studio settings. Its combination of classic Gretsch character and updated ergonomics makes it a versatile centrepiece for drummers of all styles.

Ready to experience the timeless Maple sound with a contemporary edge? The Catalina Maple CM2 delivers that unmistakable Gretsch feel the moment you sit behind it.
