Gretsch Broadkaster LX Center Block w/ Bigsby & Gold Hardware (Cadillac Green)

The Professional Collection Broadkaster Jr. LX Center Block guitars represent Gretsch's commitment to merging their legendary sound heritage with cutting-edge performance technology. These instruments feature flagship pickups and electronics engineered to provide powerful sound output, complete versatility, and outstanding control for the modern guitarist. The Professional Collection stands as a testament to Gretsch's ability to honour their sonic legacy whilst incorporating contemporary performance enhancements.

At the heart of these guitars lies the innovative redesigned Channel Core centre block, which combines a maple top layer with a spruce bottom layer and focused chambering design. This construction provides faster note attack and enhanced midrange punch, taking the Broadkaster LX guitars to new performance heights. The system allows for full-spectrum sound reproduction at high volume levels, giving players the flexibility and control needed to explore diverse sonic territories.

The Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups represent some of Gretsch's most modern and powerful pickup designs to date. The neck pickup utilises an Alnico 4 magnet with approximately 5.5k DCR, producing warm, clear, and throaty tones without muddiness or excessive compression. The bridge pickup features an Alnico 5 magnet with around 12k DCR, offering bright, clear output with enhanced midrange punch, tight focused low frequencies, and sparkling highs that remain smooth and musical.

The instrument's playability is enhanced by a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, mounted on a 24.6"-scale maple neck featuring a comfortable standard "U"-shaped profile. Glow-in-the-dark Luminlay side dots provide precision fretting capabilities in low-light performance situations, ensuring consistent playability across all environments.
