This Figured Top model responds directly to player demand for the return of this iconic 80s design, now enhanced with refined body contours, improved weight distribution, and the distinctive Explorer™ headstock that defines its bold aesthetic.

Built around a 25.5" scale length, the mahogany neck features Gibson's SlimTaper™ profile and ebony fretboard with compound radius engineering for superior playability across all 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body showcases an AA figured maple cap finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, while the Tune–O–Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece provide rock–solid intonation and sustain.

The electronics package centres on two 80s Tribute humbucker™ pickups with sophisticated wiring that includes push/pull master volume and tone controls. This setup enables coil splitting with inner/outer coil selection options, working alongside the three–way pickup selector to provide extensive humbucking and single coil tonal variations through minimal control complexity.
