Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble (Vintage Bourbon Burst) inc Hard Case

The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble delivers all of the features and performance of Gibson's regular Les Paul™ Standard 60s models but with even more vintage appeal. These limited-run Les Paul models differ from Gibson's standard Les Paul Standard 60s models in two key respects.

First, the Burstbucker™ 61R and Burstbucker 61T humbucker™ pickups are left uncovered, each featuring Double Classic White bobbins and standard Alnico 5 magnets. Second, the finishes are exclusive “Vintage” variations of Gibson's nitrocellulose lacquer, designed to replicate the subtle ageing of 1950s instruments while still offering a full-gloss appearance.

Each guitar is hand-sprayed, resulting in unique burst patterns. All of the defining features of the Les Paul Standard 60s remain, including a solid non-weight-relieved mahogany body with AA figured maple top and a SlimTaper™ profile mahogany neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays.

Hardware appointments include an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Kidney buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers. The uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R (neck) and Burstbucker 61T (bridge) pickups deliver authentic tone with Double Classic White bobbins. Handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, they are loaded with Alnico 5 magnets and hand-wired using audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. With limited production of just 500 units per colour, the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble combines vintage style, rare aesthetics, and iconic Les Paul tone.
