The Les Paul™ Standard 60s Mahogany Top breaks tradition with its all-mahogany construction, swapping the classic maple cap for a mahogany top that delivers the warmer, midrange-rich character typically found in Les Paul Customs. This solid mahogany body configuration produces a slightly different tonal palette compared to the standard maple-topped models, offering musicians a more focused midrange response that cuts through dense mixes with remarkable clarity.

Built around the beloved 60s SlimTaper™ mahogany neck profile with rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays, this instrument maintains all the playability and visual appeal that made the original era so legendary. The hardware package includes the classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge paired with an aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece, while Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Kidney Buttons and black Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors complete the authentic vintage aesthetic.

The electronics feature Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T pickups loaded with Alnico 2 magnets, wired through audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors to capture that coveted vintage Gibson tone.
