The Les Paul Deluxe carved its place in guitar history when it debuted in 1969, bringing the revolutionary mini humbucker™ pickup to Gibson's flagship model for the first time. These compact pickups maintain the noise–cancelling properties of traditional humbuckers whilst offering a distinctly clearer and brighter tonal character that sets them apart from their full–sized counterparts.

Drawing inspiration from the classic 1970s models, this modern Deluxe features a non–weight relief mahogany body paired with a bound maple top for that authentic vintage construction. The bound mahogany neck sports a comfortable Rounded C profile that suits a wide range of playing styles, whilst vintage–style Keystone tuners and a Graph Tech® nut ensure reliable tuning stability and enhanced sustain.

The traditional Les Paul control layout remains unchanged, featuring 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls that have been carefully wired with Orange Drop® capacitors. This classic configuration provides players with the familiar feel and tonal versatility that has made the Les Paul a studio and stage favourite for over five decades.
