That single change repositions the bridge plate deeper into the body, closer to the widest part of the spruce top, allowing the soundboard to move more efficiently and respond with warmth and punch–particularly suited to fingerstyle and lighter picking dynamics.

Construction centres on a mahogany back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, trimmed with single-ply cream binding across top and back. The mahogany neck features Gibson's SlimTaper 12-Fret profile and joins the body at the 12th fret via compound dovetail with hot hide glue, mirroring traditional acoustic builds. A 628.7 mm scale length sits atop a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Hardware includes a sloped rectangle rosewood bridge, bone nut and saddle, TUSQ® bridge pins, and open-back Golden Age tuners with cream buttons. Hand-sprayed satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a Gibson L-00-style pickguard complete the vintage aesthetic.
