The classic J-45 foundation remains unchanged, featuring the time-tested combination of a Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides. The mahogany SlimTaper™ neck maintains the traditional 24.75" scale length that players have come to expect from this celebrated model.

Gibson Custom Shop has now introduced the J-45 Custom, which builds upon this proven formula with striking Les Paul™ Custom-inspired aesthetics. The instrument showcases an elegant Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, complemented by multi-ply binding on both the top and back. The bound Les Paul-style peghead features a Custom split diamond inlay crafted from mother of pearl, whilst the bound ebony fretboard displays mother of pearl Custom Block inlays throughout.

Premium appointments include gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners for reliable tuning stability, and the guitar comes factory-equipped with L.R. Baggs™ Session VTC electronics for professional amplification. Each instrument is supplied with a protective hard-shell case to safeguard your investment.
