The Gibson Hummingbird Standard stands as one of the most versatile acoustic guitars ever crafted, renowned for its ability to handle everything from gentle chord progressions to powerful lead work. This new rosewood version maintains all the beloved characteristics of the classic square-shouldered design whilst offering enhanced bass response and richer overtone complexity thanks to its rosewood back and sides construction.
Built with a mahogany neck featuring a comfortable rounded profile, the guitar showcases elegant mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays that complement its premium aesthetic. The instrument comes fitted with TUSQ® nut, saddle, and bridge pins, alongside gold Grover® Rotomatic® tuners for reliable performance. The iconic Hummingbird graphics adorning the pickguard maintain the model’s distinctive visual identity.
Ready for both stage and studio applications, each guitar features integrated L.R. Baggs® VTC electronics for seamless amplification. Available in both right and left-handed configurations, every Hummingbird Standard includes a Gibson hard-shell case for protection and transport.
