The Gibson ES–345 stands as a premium evolution of the legendary ES–335, featuring sophisticated appointments that set it apart from its renowned sibling. Built with a maple centreblock and quarter–sawn Adirondack spruce bracing, this instrument offers players an impressively lightweight construction whilst expanding the available tonal palette considerably.
Visual distinction comes through multi–ply binding that wraps the body, complemented by a bound fingerboard adorned with Split Parallelogram inlays—a design exclusive to the ES–345 within the ES™ series. These aesthetic enhancements contribute to the guitar’s premium positioning and distinctive character.
High–end appointments include a hand–wired control assembly featuring Orange Drop® capacitors, paired with Gibson’s new Calibrated T–Type humbucking pickups for superior sonic performance. The hardware specification is completed with Vintage Deluxe style tuners and a lightweight aluminium ABR–1 bridge with Stop Bar tailpiece, anchored using steel thumb–wheels and studs for optimal stability and sustain.
