The Gibson ES–339 strikes the perfect balance between classic ES–335 heritage and modern playability, offering musicians a more compact semi–hollow body without compromising on that legendary Gibson tone. This instrument caters to players who appreciate the iconic ES series but prefer a lighter, more manageable guitar that doesn't sacrifice sonic quality.
At the heart of this guitar lies a hand–rolled Rounded "C" mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard featuring pearloid dot inlays that pay homage to Gibson's rich history. The 57 / 57 Classic + humbuckers work in harmony with the hand–wired tone circuit to produce the versatile ES sound that has captivated guitarists for over six decades.
Hardware appointments include Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney buttons ensuring reliable tuning stability, whilst the lightweight Aluminium ABR–1 bridge and Stop bar tailpiece provide precise intonation. Available in stunning gloss finishes of Cherry and Trans Ebony, the ES–339 presents both visual appeal and professional performance in one compelling package.
