Gibson's ES-335 60s is a semi-hollow electric guitar that resurrects the refined aesthetic and playability of early-1960s models. The thinline body combines three-ply maple, poplar, and maple with a solid maple centreblock to maximise sustain whilst minimising feedback–a proven configuration that's defined the semi-hollow category for decades. This iteration prioritises the slimmer neck profile and vintage cosmetics that made the original 60s ES-335 a cornerstone of rock, jazz, and blues.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's SlimTaper™ profile, delivering a faster-playing feel than the beefier 50s variant. A bound rosewood fretboard carries 22 medium-jumbo frets with small block acrylic inlays, whilst Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with milk bottle buttons and a Graph Tech® nut ensure tuning stability. The electronics employ a pair of hand-calibrated T-Type humbuckers™ with Alnico 5 magnets, paired to individual 500k volume and tone controls via a three-way toggle, delivering the tonal range the ES-335 is known for. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece handle intonation adjustment and sustain.

Available in Sixties Cherry, Vintage Burst, or Dark Walnut gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the guitar ships with a hardshell case. Single-ply cream binding frames the body top and back, whilst a five-ply 60s-style pickguard and black Top Hat knobs with reflectors complete the period-correct aesthetic. This guitar suits players seeking authentic 60s ES-335 character without compromise.
