GHS SGBZWLO Heavyweight Boomers Nickel-Plated Electric Guitar Strings (11-70)

Since 1964, GHS Boomers® strings have earned their reputation as the go-to choice for guitarists across every musical style imaginable. This flagship series has proven its durability and reliability through decades of use by musicians who demand strings that can handle any playing technique. The Boomers® range continues to set the standard for string performance and longevity.

These particular sets have been engineered with lower tunings in mind, featuring a heavier gauge and core wire combination that maintains excellent tone even when your guitar is tuned down. This thoughtful construction means you won’t sacrifice sound quality for the extended range that modern playing styles often require.

GHS has introduced their innovative NitroPack® singles, where each individual string is sealed in a nitrogen-rich environment within tear-resistant packaging. This process eliminates oxygen exposure, ensuring that every string maintains factory-fresh condition until you’re ready to use it.

All GHS strings are produced in climate-controlled facilities using precision manufacturing equipment and the finest materials available. The Fresh Pack™ system creates an air-tight seal that preserves string quality over time while preventing corrosion, giving you consistent intonation and superior harmonic response with every set.
