At its core lies the legendary active 4-band "variable Q" equaliser and contour circuit that established the benchmark for bass sound shaping three decades ago, now enhanced with expanded filter options to unlock your instrument's distinctive character.

The innovative push-activated knob system sets the PLEX apart from conventional tone controls, with each control offering multiple functions indicated by blue LED lighting and digital readout display. Press the bass/bump knob to access various levels of low-end enhancement, engage the low-mid/contour for that perfect scooped slap tone, utilise the hi-mid/hi-cut to eliminate unwanted pick noise, or add atmospheric "air" through the treble/presence function. Foot-switchable compressor and overdrive circuits ensure your performance sits perfectly in the mix or cuts through when needed, while the built-in chromatic tuner keeps everything pitch-perfect.
