Gallien-Krueger NEOMK4-112 1x12 Inch 400 Watt Neo Bass Cabinet Speaker

Gallien–Krueger has redefined bass cabinet engineering with their groundbreaking NEO line, representing the pinnacle of their cabinet design expertise. This latest series builds upon previous iterations with significant upgrades to aesthetics, construction quality, and performance features. The new form factor aligns perfectly with Fusion and Legacy combos, making these cabinets ideal extension options while also functioning as exceptional standalone units for GK’s Legacy and Fusion heads.

The NEO series showcases lightweight plywood construction reinforced with comprehensive internal bracing, creating remarkably robust enclosures. Internal damping material strategically absorbs rear–firing high frequencies from the speakers, preventing port interference and ensuring smooth, pleasing high–end response. Metal grilles, ultra–tough cabinet coatings, and reinforced metal corners guarantee long–lasting durability that maintains visual appeal through extensive professional use.

At the heart of the NEO IV series lie custom Neodymium woofers, designed and manufactured exclusively by GK using superior die–cast frames rather than inferior stamped alternatives. These frames provide enhanced durability and power handling capabilities, while the voice coils utilise edge–wound aluminium ribbon wire technology for superior efficiency and power management compared to conventional round wire designs. The NEO IV incorporates genuine crossover circuitry and advanced horn protection systems against power surges.

This represents Gallien–Krueger’s most sophisticated cabinet release to date, with meticulous attention paid to every component detail. GK’s custom speaker and cabinet designs work in perfect harmony with their amplifier heads, creating an integrated system specifically engineered to maximise bass guitar performance across all playing situations.
