The MB 212 brings legendary 800RB tone shaping to any venue with its four-band active EQ and signature contour control. This powerhouse combo amplifier houses 500 watts driving custom-designed 2x12 inch speakers, all wrapped in durable vinyl covering with protective metal corners for reliable gigging performance.
Professional connectivity options include a balanced DI output with pre/post switching, auxiliary input for backing tracks, and headphone output for silent practice sessions. The “chain out” feature allows connection to GK’s MBP powered enclosures, making it perfect for pairing with the 212 MBP for expanded sound reinforcement.
Built around GK’s lightweight switch mode power supply and amplifier technology, the MB 212 weighs just 41 pounds whilst maintaining full 500-watt performance. The custom Neo drivers feature 2.5 inch edge-wound aluminium voice coils, manufactured in GK’s USA facility specifically for this cabinet design.
Advanced engineering includes individual speaker chambers that eliminate standing waves and sound leakage, whilst internal monitoring circuitry provides status indication through the power switch ring. The precisely tuned ports work alongside a specific jute blend damping material to optimise frequency response and cabinet performance.
