Dual ADAT optical inputs and outputs make this unit perfect for expanding your studio’s I/O capabilities - simply connect via optical cable to bring eight additional channels to your system. The unit features two high-headroom instrument inputs that easily handle high-output guitar pickups, making it brilliant for tracking everything from drums and guitars to keyboards and vocals. The eight analogue outputs can source directly from the mic preamps for live applications, or via ADAT inputs to provide eight more analogue output channels from your DAW.

ADAT connectivity is straightforward - just connect the OctoPre’s ADAT output to your interface’s ADAT input, set your sample rate and clock source, and you’re ready to record. This technology is available on many Focusrite and third-party interfaces, making integration seamless.
