The RedNet X2P brings professional Dante networking to your fingertips with a remarkably compact 2x2 audio interface that packs serious punch. This portable powerhouse features two Red Evolution mic preamps, stereo line outputs, and a robust headphone amplifier, all designed to integrate seamlessly into your Dante network via a single Ethernet cable connection.
Power over Ethernet capability means you can run the entire unit through a PoE switch or injector, eliminating the need for separate power supplies whilst maintaining full audio, clock, and remote control functionality. The rear panel XLR outputs provide level-controlled analogue signals up to 24dBu, while the front-mounted 1/4" headphone output drives both high and low impedance cans with authority.
Connectivity options include combination XLR/1/4" inputs that accommodate microphone, line, or instrument signals through Focusrite’s acclaimed Air mode – faithfully emulating their classic input transformer sound. The comprehensive top panel control array covers everything from output levels and mic pre gain to high-pass filtering, Air processing, phase inversion, phantom power, and stereo linking capabilities.
A built-in local input mixer provides essential ‘more me’ monitoring control, while the crossfader lets you balance between mic pre inputs and network receiver channels sent to your headphone or line outputs. Control lockout mode ensures your settings remain secure during remote operation, making the X2P ideal for both studio and live applications.
