Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre USB Audio Interface

The Clarett+ 8Pre stands as Focusrite's flagship 18-in/20-out USB audio interface, engineered to meet the demanding requirements of established producers and professional studios. This premium studio centrepiece combines eight high-headroom Clarett+ microphone preamps with all-analogue Air circuitry, impedance switching, and relay control to deliver exceptional vocal, drum, and acoustic instrument recordings. Two dedicated JFET instrument inputs maintain the authentic character of guitars by replicating the natural response of plugging directly into an amplifier.

The interface features completely redesigned A-D and D-A converters that provide an exceptionally wide dynamic range with minimal noise and distortion. These improvements allow recording artists to capture signals with remarkable clarity and transparency, while the enhanced D-A conversion ensures every detail remains crisp during playback and monitoring. Two powerful headphone outputs give artists complete control over their monitoring experience, supporting any headphone type while enabling custom foldback mixes for optimal performance.

Connectivity options include ADAT optical expansion for adding eight additional inputs and outputs via the Clarett OctoPre, plus MIDI and S/PDIF connections for comprehensive studio integration. The Clarett+ 8Pre comes bundled with Hitmaker Expansion 3.0, which includes Native Instruments® MASSIVE and FAST Balancer AI mixing plugin, alongside Ableton Live Lite and access to the Focusrite Plug-In Collective for registered users.
