Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre USB Audio Interface

The Clarett+ 2Pre stands as Focusrite's refined flagship USB audio interface, building upon the proven foundation of its predecessor to offer recording artists a crystal-clear 2-in/4-out solution. This bus-powered USB-C interface combines portability with professional-grade performance, making it an ideal companion for both studio work and mobile recording sessions on PC and Mac systems.

At its core, the Clarett+ 2Pre features two professional Clarett+ microphone preamps with all-analogue Air circuitry, impedance switching, and relay control for capturing vocals and instruments with exceptional clarity, low distortion, and ultra-low noise. The dual JFET instrument inputs provide natural guitar tone reproduction, allowing direct connection just as you would to an amplifier, while the independent A-D and D-A converters offer improved dynamic range and reduced distortion for enhanced sonic accuracy and mix control.

Expansion capabilities include ADAT optical input for connecting additional preamps like the Clarett OctoPre, creating a comprehensive 10-input tracking environment for larger sessions. The interface also includes the comprehensive Hitmaker Expansion 3.0 bundle, featuring Native Instruments® MASSIVE and FAST Balancer AI mixing plugin, available with units purchased and registered from October 1st, 2021 onwards, alongside Ableton Live Lite and access to the Focusrite Plug-In Collective.
