The A32pro redefines professional audio conversion with its groundbreaking modular design, cramming 32�32 balanced studio-quality analogue inputs and outputs into a compact 1RU chassis. Built on Ferrofish's new modular hardware platform, this highly integrated converter supports sample rates up to 192kHz and features both ADAT and MADI digital interfaces – the industry's most widely adopted digital audio standards. The unit accommodates dual SFP MADI modules alongside the optical MADI module, with redundant operation modes that automatically switch between interfaces if one fails.

At the heart of the A32pro lies the latest generation ESS converters, paired with a temperature-compensated clock and jitter reduction PLL to guarantee crystal clear sound reproduction. The 32 balanced analogue channels are accessible via eight D-SUB connectors, each capable of studio levels up to +20dBu with individual 1dB step adjustments. Beyond pure conversion duties, the sophisticated routing matrix transforms the unit into a versatile digital format converter, seamlessly integrating existing and future MADI and ADAT equipment.

Operation remains refreshingly straightforward thanks to four multitouch TFT screens displaying levels across all 64 I/O channels, complemented by an intuitive graphical user interface. Remote control options include USB, MIDI, MIDI-over-MADI, and GPI, with a simple MIDI CC mode for distance parameter control. The dual headphone outputs can monitor any analogue or digital input or output, featuring an advanced monitoring matrix with M/S decoder mode and balanced operation for high-end headphones. For expanded connectivity, the A32pro Dante variant adds 64�64 Dante channels, while dual power supply capability and comprehensive monitoring ensure maximum reliability in critical applications.
