The Fender® Vintera® III Mid '60s Jazzmaster® brings together authentic vintage appointments and modern reliability in a guitar that captures the distinctive character of this pivotal era. Built with a classic alder body and maple neck paired with a round‐laminated rosewood fingerboard, this instrument produces the bright, jangly tones and warm, woody midrange that made the Jazzmaster a favourite among discerning players. The mid '60s "C"‐shaped neck profile and 7.25" radius fingerboard with vintage‐tall frets provide that instantly recognisable feel, making it comfortable for extended playing sessions.
At the heart of this guitar are two vintage‐style mid '60s spec'd single‐coil Jazzmaster® pickups that faithfully reproduce the sonic qualities of the original instruments. The versatile switching system includes a 3‐position toggle for the lead circuit and a 2‐position slide switch that alternates between lead and rhythm circuits, with dedicated thumbwheel controls for the rhythm circuit's neck pickup volume and tone. The vintage‐style floating tremolo bridge adds authentic vibrato capabilities, while period‐correct tuning machines maintain stable tuning with classic aesthetics. Available in Olympic White, Candy Apple Red, and Sonic Blue finishes, each with era‐appropriate pickguard styling.
