The Vintera® III Late '50s Telecaster® brings you back to the golden age of electric guitar design, when Fender was establishing the sonic blueprint that would define rock and roll. This meticulously crafted instrument recreates the authentic look, feel and tone of the iconic late 1950s Telecaster, featuring an ash or alder body matched with a 1‐piece maple neck and fingerboard that produces the unmistakable punch and crystal‐clear articulation Fender is renowned for. The late '50s "V"‐shaped neck profile provides that instantly familiar playing experience, while the 7.25" radius fingerboard with vintage‐tall frets ensures supreme comfort across all 21 frets.
At the heart of this guitar are two vintage‐style late '50s spec'd single‐coil pickups that capture the bright, cutting tones from this pivotal era in music history. The 3‐position blade switching gives you classic Telecaster® versatility‐bridge pickup for that signature twang, both pickups for added depth, or neck pickup for warmer tones. Period‐correct appointments include a vintage‐style 3‐saddle bridge with steel barrel saddles, bone nut, knurled flat‐top control knobs, and Fender® vintage‐style tuning machines that provide superior tuning stability. Available in Sherwood Green Metallic, Butterscotch Blonde, and Dakota Red finishes with gloss polyester body and gloss urethane neck finishes. A deluxe gig bag is included.
