The Vintera® III Early '70s Jazz Bass® brings together the punchy, articulate tone and classic aesthetics that defined one of the most celebrated eras in Fender history. Built with an alder body and maple neck, this bass captures the full, clear sound that made the Jazz Bass a studio and stage favourite. The early '70s "C"‐shape neck features binding and block inlays, paired with your choice of a 7.25" radius maple or rosewood fingerboard fitted with vintage‐tall frets for authentic playability.
At the heart of this instrument sits a pair of vintage‐style early '70s single‐coil pickups that produce the warm, woody character Fender became famous for. The vintage‐style 4‐saddle bridge provides rock‐solid intonation and sustain, while the open‐back tuning machines maintain reliable tuning stability. Available in Black and Candy Apple Red with rosewood fingerboard, or 3‐Color Sunburst with maple fingerboard, each model comes fitted with Fender USA 7250M nickel plated steel strings.
