The Vintera® III Early '60s Jazz Bass® brings together authentic vintage design with the unmistakable Fender sound that defined an era. This meticulously crafted instrument features an alder body paired with a maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard, creating the classic tonal foundation that's full of punch and clarity. The early '60s "C"‐shaped neck profile with its 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage‐tall frets offers supreme comfort and outstanding playability for extended sessions.
At the heart of this bass are vintage‐style early '60s single‐coil pickups that capture all the punchy, articulate, warm and woody tone that made Fender famous. The stacked concentric control layout provides independent volume and tone control for each pickup, allowing precise tonal shaping. Additional vintage appointments include a 4‐saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles for rock‐solid intonation and sustain, vintage‐style reverse tuning machines for enhanced stability, and a bone nut. Available in Olympic White with tortoiseshell pickguard, or Sonic Blue and Aztec Gold with mint green pickguards.
