The California Player Villager 12-string acoustic guitar captures the rebellious spirit of the west coast, encouraging musicians to break boundaries and forge their own creative path. Drawing inspiration from Fender's legendary electric guitar heritage, this instrument embodies adventure and freedom while maintaining the craftsmanship expected from a premium acoustic guitar.
Built with an X-braced solid spruce top paired with sapele back and sides, the Villager features a non-cutaway Newporter auditorium body that produces both articulate clarity and powerful projection. The nato neck showcases a comfortable slim "C" profile with graphite reinforcement rods for enhanced stability, whilst the 24.75" scale length ensures comfortable string tension perfect for extended playing sessions. The distinctive 1960s-inspired "hockey stick" headstock pays homage to Fender's rich acoustic heritage.
Premium appointments include vintage-style tuning machines for precise tuning stability, GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle that enhance the signature 12-string chime, and a Fishman® Flex preamp system for faithful amplified reproduction. The walnut fretboard features a 12" radius with white dot inlays across 20 frets, while the Modern Viking bridge and laminated sapele construction with gloss poly finish complete this standout instrument.
