The Player II Mustang® brings iconic Fender® sound into the modern era with contemporary updates that make this stage–ready guitar a compelling choice for today's musicians. This instrument radiates timeless Fender charm whilst incorporating design elements specifically crafted for fast and fluid playability, including a Modern "C"–profile neck with silky satin urethane finish and a comfortable 9.5"–radius fingerboard available in either slab rosewood or maple with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets.

At the heart of this guitar's sonic character are the Player Series Alnico V Single–Coil Mustang® pickups, which provide crystalline highs, musical mids and tight lows suitable across multiple genres. The 3–way toggle switch allows players to access everything from glassy neck pickup chime to cutting bridge pickup snarl, with all the tonal variations in between.

Built on a classic alder body foundation, the Player II Mustang is available in both traditional Fender finishes and previously unreleased colours sourced from the company's archives. The 6–saddle hardtail bridge, bent steel saddles and ClassicGear™ tuners work together to maintain precise tuning stability, giving players the reliability needed to explore their sonic possibilities with confidence.
